General Discussion / Lift from Seattle to Anacortes, Sat Mar 4?
« Last post by kerry.morse on February 22, 2017, 06:21:49 PM »
Hi Friends,
If you're traveling from Seattle to Anacortes on Saturday, Mar 4 (2017) I'd much rather carpool than take the shuttle.  Happy to pitch in for gas and ferry.

Please email me at kerrym.morse@gmail.com if this might work.

See you SOON!

General Discussion / Cottage to share
« Last post by s.moore on January 25, 2017, 09:39:37 PM »
Late in the game to grab an accommodation at Roche Harbor so I booked a cottage, 2 bedrooms & kitchen.  I'll be solo or with spouse, staying Sunday through Friday,  3/5-3/10, 5 nights.

I'd like to share lodging with a solo or couple for half the rent.  Please email to s.moore at kvalley.com (preferred), or 971-274-1609, lv msg or send text.

General Discussion / Re: Daily schedule
« Last post by cheryllb on January 17, 2017, 03:42:54 PM »
Steve---- there is usually tune sharing from 10 (or 10:30?) am until noon.  Afternoons are loosely scheduled and informal workshops are posted on a chalkboard as the week goes on.  There are typically evening sessions, with the earliest one often being a slightly slower session around 7:30 pm or so.  There is plenty of time to fit in some exploration, walks, and meals with your non-participating spouse.  It is a lovely venue.

General Discussion / Daily schedule
« Last post by s.moore on January 10, 2017, 09:24:33 PM »
I may attend with a non-participant spouse and would like to know if music sessions occupy some, much, or most of the daylight hours.   I saw a note about tune-learning in the AM.  Certainly evenings are nonstop; do folks pack it up at 10, 12 or 2 AM? Do things kick off somewhat late in the morning, like 10 AM?  Does music taper off in the PM for siestas?   I'm thinking of setting aside some hours to explore the island but may hate to leave if there are tunes in the air somewhere.  Thanks for responding. -Steve

General Discussion / 2017 tunes
« Last post by Laura Robbins on June 06, 2016, 03:35:38 PM »

Hi-

This will be my first attendance at the Irish week festival. I was wondering if there will be a 2017 post of tunes that will be played or do I just keep checking for tunes that will be posted as time goes by. I assume that the previous tune list will be useful. I don't  recognize a lot of the tunes so I  better get practicing!

Thanks!
